In October 2024, Goodfellas Impact Coalition hosted a Community Fish Fry at Tut’s Place Lot, turning a simple meal into a powerful act of love, care, and togetherness. At a time when many families in Wimauma were still recovering from the recent storm, this event provided more than just food—it brought comfort, restored spirits, and reminded everyone that we are strongest when we come together.
Neighbors from all walks of life gathered to share a hot, freshly prepared meal of fried fish, traditional sides, and desserts made with love by community volunteers. Laughter, conversation, and music filled the air as people came not only to eat but to connect, support one another, and celebrate the strength of their community. Elders shared stories, kids played freely, and everyone found a place at the table.
