History was made in Wimauma as Goodfellas Impact Coalition hosted the community’s first-ever Black History Month Celebration. This event served as a powerful reminder of the resilience, achievements, and cultural contributions of Black leaders, both past and present. Families, educators, and community members came together to celebrate with music, spoken word, and storytelling, creating an enriching experience for all ages.
Through interactive exhibits and educational discussions, attendees explored the impact of Black pioneers who paved the way for future generations. More than just a celebration, this event set the foundation for ongoing learning and cultural preservation, ensuring that the rich history of Wimauma’s Black community remains an integral part of its future.
